Soldier's Memorial

This work was commissioned by Lincoln University to honor the Civil War Soldiers and the white officer Captain Foster who founded the University as a Mecca of higher education for the Black soldiers who fought so valiantly in the 1800s. The assemblage is installed on the campus “Main” and is part of a larger rebuilding and expansion program.
