Alex Haley - Kunte Kinte Memorial

Commissioned to create a memorial to Alex Haley, historian and “Roots” author. The memorial is installed at the same dock in Annapolis, MD where Mr. Haley’s ancestor Kunte Kinte debarked as a slave. The sculpture depicts Mr. Haley reading to a group of children.
